Promote Safety.
Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with OSHA and Vulcan standards.
Operate Heavy Equipment.
Safely and competently operate a backhoe, skid loader broom, screws on the screed, and asphalt roller. Drive this equipment in successive passes over terrain and/or asphalt to a specified grade following marking on grade stakes or hand signals.
Inspect Equipment.
Perform thorough inspections and accurately complete relevant documentation.
Maintain Equipment.
Grease, oil, and perform minor repairs on the equipment.
