• Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) – float between units\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025\n
• End Date: February 28, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours (12-hour night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:30am)\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays, unpaid lunch\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 - $2250\n

\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications\n
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, communication)\n
• Completion of CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams (or willingness to obtain)\n
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN, TCAR, De-escalation Certification\n
• Preferred skills: Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, intracranial pressure monitoring\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities for ICU Travel Nurse\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n
• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments\n
• Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare personnel\n
• Maintain accurate and current patient records and documentation\n
• Document assessments, care plans, and discharge planning\n
• Communicate pertinent data to allied healthcare providers\n
• Demonstrate proficiency as charge nurse and serve as a clinical resource\n
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives\n
• Adhere to hospital policies, including safety and infection control standards\n
• Maintain patient confidentiality and represent the hospital positively in the community\n
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing supervisor\n
