Position Summary

As a Strategic Account Operations Project Manager (SPM), you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Top 20 biopharma customers. You will lead strategic and complex projects, ensuring efficient project delivery while managing internal and external communications. Your strong project management skills will be key as you orchestrate cross-functional teams and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full scope of strategic projects, including new service launches, integrations, and significant program changes.
  • Build and manage comprehensive project timelines in collaboration with CMM teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to address challenges and drive project success.
  • Act as the primary contact for project escalations, keeping clients and CMM leadership informed of updates and risks.
  • Set and manage client expectations, emphasizing the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Provide regular project status updates to both clients and CMM stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Account Operations Managers (AOMs) to ensure smooth integration of project deliverables.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Identify risks proactively and implement timely mitigation strategies.

  • CMM Product Knowledge: Preferred but not required; strong project management skills are the priority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role, preferably in Healthcare.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.

We offer a competitive compensation package in alignment with McKesson's Total Rewards. Our pay range for this position is $97,800 - $163,000, influenced by performance and skills. Beyond base pay, additional compensation opportunities may be available.
