Our work environment is Team Oriented, Customer Focused, Fast Paced and Fun. Previous Barista experience is not necessary...but high energy, high enthusiasm and an overwhelming commitment to Customer Service are essential elements!

PJ’s Coffee - Airport Blvd strives to deliver a unique coffee experience. With one step through our front door you are greeted with the scent of our 100% Arabica beans invoking the soul and unique experience of PJ's Coffee original location on Maple Street in New Orleans. PJ’s Coffee features an upscale, modern interior design with traditional New Orleans character. It hosts a drive-thru lane for our commuters as well as a relaxing environment inside or on our patio for those that want to sit back relax and take the day in-stride.

Our GRAND OPENING Team will handcraft and taste every menu item including coffee and tea beverages, pastries, sandwiches, and of course, BEIGETS! Must be able to train for a week DAILY from EITHER 8am-1pm or 2pm-6pm. Tentative opening date to be discussed during interview.

Immediate growth and leadership opportunities are available with this locally owned & family operated Franchise as we expand into the Mobile & Baldwin County markets.

Responsibilities

We are located at 3950-A Airport Blvd in the Pinebrook Shopping Center. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.

Job Duties:

• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

• Must be 16 Years or Older
• Must Love Coffee! (specifically, PJ’s Coffee!!)
• Must have an  Overtly Cheerful, Friendly, Outgoing personality. It is not just about selling a cup of coffee; it is about developing long-term relationships with our customers.
• Strong verbal skills and the ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Strong desire to make our customers happy and to provide excellent service! 
• Barista experience is Ok, but not required! You will be trained in the PJ’s ways of serving the best cup of coffee!
• Not necessarily driven to succeed by hourly salary but  driven in making great tips and other bonus for exceptional customer service!
• Alabama Food Handler's Card preferred.
• We have some great recipes - memorization skills are essential!
