Job Title FEMA - Program Delivery Specialist Job Description The Disaster Program Delivery Specialist is responsible for collecting, coordinating, and reviewing applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments. Key tasks include auditing applicant data, reviewing Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) information, conducting exploratory calls, and understanding each applicant’s recovery priorities. Other responsibilities include: Supporting the communication process with applicants by scheduling meetings, tracking status, and following up on FEMA requests. Coordinating document transmittal through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers using a web‑based tool. Scheduling site inspections with applicants and the Site Inspector Task Force Leader, and identifying when technical expertise may be required. Supporting the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs, and participating in FEMA meetings to provide updates and recommendations. Assisting with the development of Determination Memos, communicating final determinations, conducting exit briefings, and performing other duties as required. Coordinating and completing basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage for the FEMAPublic Assistance grant delivery process. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel required. 5 years of in‑field experience; if holding a bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of in‑field experience is required. You must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a FEMA Badge, which includes a background investigation for a Public Trust position. Skills and Abilities Demonstrates good organizational skills to balance and prioritize work. Good attention to detail and customer service skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
