Facility Custodian

Position Title: Facility Custodian Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 4-5 Hours / Day (Monday - Thursday)

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Facility Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role in Hamburg, IA focuses on daily cleaning duties across office spaces, common areas, locker rooms, and designated outdoor areas.

Facility Custodian Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and breakrooms
• Spot clean and deep clean front offices and entry areas
• Operate floor sweeper in walk aisles and front entrance
• Empty trash in front offices, individual offices and entryways
• Maintain locker rooms: change trash, mop floors and discard unsecured/unclaimed items
• Clean and tidy outside back patio area, removing trash and clutter

Requirements for Facility Custodian:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment such as floor sweepers and mops
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
